Our Registered Maine Recreation Guides are experienced leaders with knowledge and skills that are unparalleled in trip leading, wildlife, canoeing, camping, hiking, and wilderness medical training. Each guide brings his or her own special experience to make your experience unique, in and of itself, each with an interesting story and always ready to answer your questions about the people and the wildlife of the North Maine woods. Our Registered Maine Guide’s are eager to take guests to the best spots for maximum moose sightings. We are as excited as you are when we spot moose and a few of us bring our cameras along on every moose and wildlife tour – you never know when the elusive Maine moose poses for that famous photo shot.

Jeremy and Jessica Hargreaves started Northeast Guide Service in 2007 because of our mission to provide quality, personalized trips into the Maine outdoors. We both grew up in Maine and enjoy Maine woods and waters. We enjoy kayaking, hiking, skiing, rafting, fishing, Maine wildlife, our environment, photography and the most joy is playing with our faithful dog friends, Manny & Abby. Our dogs are the official greeters at Northeast Guide Service Maine moose watching tours. Both are friendly and love to play ball!
