Enjoy a leisurely canoe paddle on ponds of the North Maine Woods to see moose, deer, otter, blue heron, cranes, ducks and pileated woodpeckers. See the sunset over the mountains of the area and Moosehead Lake. Catch a glimpse of nature’s splendor and visit the Moosehead Lake Region during the fall. Maine Moose Watching Tours FAQ’s

 

  • All equipment provided. Lifejackets, paddles, boats, transportation, Registered Maine Guides, snack and drinks.
  • Children under 10 years of age are only $19.00 (must be accompanied by an adult)(maximum number of 2 children at the $19.00 discount rate.)
  • Maine moose watching tours evening trips meet at 5:00 pm (May 1 – August 14), 4:00 pm (August 15 – September 14) and 3:00 pm (September 15- October 15)
  • Typically Maine moose watching tours last 3 1/2 to 4 hours!!!
